I am an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. I received my PhD degree in the Economic Analysis & Policy Area at Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. You can find my CV here. My main research interests lie broadly in quantitative marketing, social media influencer, economics of digitization, industrial organization, and applied microeconomic theory. My job market paper studies how new influencers strategically design content to overcome the cold-start problem. My research has won multiple academic awards in Marketing and Economics, including the Sheth Foundation ISMS Doctoral Dissertation Award, the Young Economists' Essay Award at EARIE, the Gregory Chow Best Paper Award by the Chinese Economist Society, and the Best Paper Award at the 4th Doctoral Workshop on the Economics of Digitization (TSE).
